Introducing the newest bGeigie

Continuing our tradition of innovation in open environmental data gathering solutions for the public, SAFECAST proudly introduces the bGeigieZen. Designed as a fully-compatible successor to our award-winning bGeigie Nano, the bGeigieZen is a rugged, customizable, open-source data-logging Geiger counter. Like previous models in our bGeigie series, it is GPS-equipped and allows users to easily generate maps of radiation levels using the SAFECAST API and our online map. By using the reliable M5Stack for processing and display, we are able to provide greater functionality and flexibility.

Q: Why is it Zen?     A: Because it’s simple!!

Like the extremely popular bGeigie Nano, the bGeigieZen is available as a kit, but we’ve greatly reduced the number of components, which means lower cost. The beautifully-engineered Zen is quicker and easier to assemble, but provides the same robust and reliable performance in the field. Prebuilt units are also available.

NOTE: The bGeigieZen is now in its Alpha stage of development, undergoing final testing and refinement by our team. We are now accepting purchase reservations for fulfillment in the near future. Our online store provides options for both direct bank deposit and PayPal. Prices shown are a current estimate and may change. [Need to clarify this process]
